Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most famous role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). The youngest of three children. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs, sneaking away from the family in order in order to perform.
