Torrie Anne Wilson, born on July 24 1975 is an American former professional wrestler. Wilson is best known for her work with World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly called the World Wrestling Federation. She was also a Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. [1][8] Soon after her win, Wilson was signed by World Championship Wrestling. She remained with the organization from 1999 until 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001 , she started appearing in the World Wrestling Federation's (WWF) in the form of The Invasion, a storyline that was based on the then-current WWF storyline. [5] Her most high-profile stories took place in 2002 when she was feuding with Dawn Marie,[5] and 2003, when she feuded with Sable. Wilson is also part of the all-female stable (i.e. the group of storyline-associated characters) also known as Vince's Devils and ended its run in 2006.Aside from professional wrestling, Wilson has been on the cover of a variety of magazines that include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for two times, the second time featuring Wilson and Sable).Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. Wilson's first wrestling experience came when she attended an World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend in 1999. Wilson was invited to be a part of Scott Steiner in the ring after she left the ring. [7] Kevin Nash expressed interest in creating a storyline with her in the future. [5][7][9] Her first appearance was on the episode of Nitro 8 on February 8, 1999 (later named "Samantha") The storyline discovered that Wilson had been recruited by New World Order (nWo) to con David Flair into supporting his father Ric Flair. They appeared together on February 21 at SuperBrawl IX when Wilson slapped Ric before David struck him with a Taser. 15 Ric was awarded the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Hollywood Hogan. This was in an Uncensored match , in which a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match took place. David and Wilson took their break from WCW television, before returning to the ring in May. In 1999, at the Bash at the Beach, Wilson was an assistant for Flair in his successful defense of the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
